Picked up a KVD edition 7' 10" crankin rods over the winter and have had a chance to give it a little work out.  I have never used a parabolic type rod before but so far i have enjoyed it.  You read the hype about it being forgiving etc. it is a soft rod and for fishing deeper running crank baits I have to say it is enjoyable to run, just wished they built it with cork grips.  Before this i was and still am running a Johnny Morris elete also 7' 10" another great rod, now i run 3 crankbait rods, makes it easier when drifting over diffrent water depths to just grab another to just tick the bottom of the depth I am in.

While on the subject of crankbaits...is it me or are strike kings baits poorly built?  The halves don't line up alll that well on the ones i have purchased.
