Well we had 22 players come to the game for our third draw of the 2010 season on Massabesic. All were searching and yes finding those big green fish with only 12 smallmouth coming to the scale. Mike Day took the smallmouth lunker award with a whopping 2.27 smallface. Good Job.
OK, lets get down to it. Coming in first out of his new Skeeter, Joe Spinello with a huge creel of largemouth tilting the scale at 15.77 for those 5 beautiful greenie’s with a kicker and our lunker largemouth at 5.69. Well done. Joe told us he caught most of his fish on a Senko and the Big One on a spider grub. His limit came late as well as his lunker. With that said, Joe worked a very defined area to capture the crown here at Massy – again. Great Job.
Coming in second place Rick Lavoie with another whopping bag of green fish totaling 15.65. His bag was anchored with a kicker fish at 3.60. Rick caught everything on a Drop Shot all day long. Rick made this reporter laugh with he told me he caught over 30 fish while I just got 6 bites and that was it. Great Job.
Taking third place, Ryan Richardson using his Carolina Rig all day for a total of 14.84. His kicker fish was 4.14. Well done.
Now that final coveted first loser pool was taken by Mark Peabody with his trusty jig all day giving him a total of 14.80. Great Job Mark.
We want to extend a special thank you to our Lakes Region Club for such a great clean up. Kicking it off was Ryan Richardson and Justin Brigham leading the rest of the guys to finish it all up. Thanks also goes out to Greg Day, Mike Day, John Diaco, Mike Spurr and that ole man Alan Denise. Great Job everyone, and a great show
See you all on the water – casting your dreams.
