Well here we are at our original Sweetheart location, the one where it all started 5 years ago in 2006 on Lake Massabesic.  What a hot day it turned out to be.  But that did not deter any of the fun and smiles that we see at each Sweetheart event.  We had a number of sweetheart teams arrive to play today where everyone today was a winner, bearing the heat and the tough bite.  Its all about family, and fun, no pressure just pleasure.  We had some that have come each year to a new father and son team.  His son thought it was like winning megabucks fishing with his dad at this event.  That is what this is all about.

First place went to a sweetheart couple that is no stranger to the Sweetheart winners circle, Betty and Alan Denise with 18.37.  What can you say, he is a machine with a net, as Betty caught them all today.   so I wonder who really carries this team Huh Betty can you talk candidly?  LOL  Way to go….

Second place team of Judy and Ryan Richardson brought 13.59 to the scale.  That was a great finish considering the field of anglers that was out there today.  This team was  steadfast to their plan, stayed close to one general area working it slowly.  As was shared at the end of the day, the money is nice, but the smiles are nicer.  Great photo op for mom and son.  Hope to see you at the next one.

Third place winners, Madison and Dave Tsao.  This team also had the lunker largemouth at 5.00 even.   And this reporter hear from David more then once through the day we got nothing but rats.   Yea right! CITY RATS!  Wow what a great bag at 12.53. As it should be Madison caught them all except that rat  David kept telling me he had. WHAT a sand Bagger !

They all are sand baggers that is.  I sat out there in that heat hearing all those wow what atough day and I looked at Sara and said wow we might get luckily” … WRONG !!! All sand baggers I tell you, all sand baggers !

Our First Loser pool went to Frank and Kayla Campisi with 12.20. Frank shared he was very pleased with the day using his trusty Carolina rig and Kayla working that spider grub.  This team had all smiles as Madison and David Tsao bumped them into first losers.  LOL   It pays to be a loser.

Lunker Smallmouth at 2.17 was brought to the scales by Jennifer Lafontaine and Josh Lane. Its always SO WONDERFUL TO SEE SOME MANY SMILES BUT TELL ME THE TRUTH DOES JENNIFER LOOK HAPPY THAT SHE CAUGHT THAT LUNKER SMALLFACE?? Well done

Our next and last event of 2010 is Aug 21 on Lake Winnipesaukee.  Greg and Beth will be posting more details about our last event, where we usually have some sort of barbeque and gathering.  Hope everyone can make it, and at which point Greg will pull the free entry for 2011.

A special thank you to Madison and Dave Tsao, Betty and Alan Denise, Beth and Greg Day and just in general a thank you to all that helped each other load and unload trailers, parking, etc.

See you on the water – casting your dreams.
